We are proud to be a Five Star
Award winning school, located
outside the southeast section of
Wellington on Lake Worth Road.
Panther Run has an enrollment of
approximately 800 students in
grades pre-K through Fifth grade.

1991, Panther Run has
achieved excellence in
academics each year.
Most of our staff have
been at the school for 15
years or more, including
some who have been
here since its opening.
An Amazing Community
Our school is known for its
outstanding parent involvement and
dedicated, quality educators. Our
PTA plays a vital role in the success
of the school and we have many
activities throughout the year that
involve all of our families.

Panther Run Aims to Develop Students’ Talents
With the school's integrated Fine Arts
program, students are encouraged to
develop their talents, both academically
and artistically.
The Calypso Cats Steel Drum Band
Comprised of talented Fifth graders, The Calypso Cats Steel Drum Band
is known throughout Palm Beach County and perform at a wide variety
of events.
Art Club
Students are given a chance to
increase their skills and participate
in local and statewide contests.
Each year our students are awarded
top honors in contests such as Arti-
Gras, and US Fish and Wildlife
Service Duck Stamp contest.
Full Time Gifted Program
We have a minimum of two classes
per grade level.
The configuration of the classes have
gifted and high-achieving students
together.
Lessons focus on the multiple
intelligences and activities are project
based.
Children receive enrichment across the
curriculum daily based on their
individual strengths and needs.
The program follows the gifted
guidelines provided by the district.

We provide educational opportunities for preschool
age children with and without learning differences.
The programs include:
-VPK inclusion, VE Split Model, VE Full Day
Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
In each grade level there are teachers in the
following categories:
- Team Teach with a partner within their grade
level
- Teachers that are self-contained (teach ALL
subjects)
We have high expectations for children within each
grade level along with meeting the needs of our
ELL, ESE, Speech and Language students with
classroom support for all students.
WPRE News Crew
Panther Run also has its own WPRE News Crew.
Students produce the live news show each day
and act as roving reporters to film events around
campus and show the reports on WPRE.

Community Partnerships
Partnerships with the community
help to enhance the programs
that we have in place. Panther
Run participates in the Winter
Equestrian Festival. We also have
a partnership with the Village of
Wellington to provide
supplementary funds for tutoring.
