(When using this air conditioner in European countries, the following guidance must be followed)
- This marking shown on the product or its literature, indicates that waste electrical and eletrical equipment (WEEE as in
directive 2002/96/EC) should not be mixed with general household waste.
It is prohibited to dispose of this appliance in domestic household waste.
For disposal, there are several possibilities:
1. The municipality has established collection systems, where electronic waste can be disposed of at least free of charge to
the user.
2. When buying a new product, the retailer will take back the old product at least free of charge.
3. The manufacture will take back the old appliance for disposal at least free of charge to the user.
4. As old products contain valuable resources, they can be sold to scrap metal dealers.

1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
This symbol indicates the possibility of personnel injury or loss of life.
Read this manual before using the product!
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
The task of maintenance or repair this product must only be performed by suitably qualified and
experienced persons.
Incomplete repair or maintenance may result in water leakage, elecric shock or fire.
Keep ventilation openings in the unit enclosure clear of obstructions. Ensure that there is at least
30cm of clear space around the unit.
All wring must comply with local and national electrical codes and be installed by qualified
service agent.
This unit is grounded through the power cord plug when plugged into a matching wall outlet.
Make sure it is properly grounded.
Inproper grounded may result in electric shock.
Do not use extension cord or share the same power outlet with other appliances.
Check the available power supply and resolve any wiring issues before installation and operation.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
If the unit is knocked over during use, turn off the unit and unplug immediately. Leave the unit to
settle for a few hours before using.
Or else the unit may initiate the auto-cu off function.
Do not use flammable gas or combustibles such as gasoline, benzene, thinner, etc. in the
conditioned space.
This may result in a fire.
Keep this appliance away from heat sources.
This may result in unit damaged or fire.
Operating with wet hands may result in electrical shock.
Do not operate the unit in a wet room such as bathroom or laundry room.
This may result in electric shock.
Do not inset hands or fingers or other objects into the air inlet or outlet at any time.
This may cause injury, as the internal fan rotates at high speed.

Do not block air inlets or outlets. Poor performance, increased running costs and reduce product
life will result.
Do not place the unit in front of drapes, curtains or other hangings.
In case they fall against the air inlet.
The unit should be used in such a way that it is protected from moisture. Do not place any objects
on top of unit, especially the one containing water.
Do not control the system with main power switch.
It can cause fire or water leakage.
Store the remote control out of reach of infants.
Failure to observe this may result in the batteries being swallowed or other accidents.
Always transport the unit in a vertical position.
Ensure the unit is securely placed on a stable, level surface.
Disconnect the unit when unused for long periods. Place and store away from direct sunlight.

Never remove any fixed cover.
Regular high level maintenance of the units is essential.

CAUTION
1. Clearly write the charged refrigerant quantity on the
refrigerant label using indelible ink.
2. Prevent emission of the contained fluorinated gas. Ensure
that the fluorinated gas is never vented to the atmosphere
during installation, service or disposal. When any leakage
of the contained fluorinated gas is detected, the leak shall
be stopped and repaired as soon as possible.
3. Only qualified service personnel are allowed to access and
service this product.
4. Any handling of the fluorinated gas in this product, such as
when moving the product or recharging the gas, shall comply
under (EC) Regulation No. 842/2006 on certain fluorinated
greenhouse gases and any relevant local legislation.

Operation starts when this button is pressed and stops
when this button is pressed again.

ON/OFF Button
Active/Disable sleep function. The lamp will be on when
sleep function is activated.
SLEEP Button
Press this button to select the fan speed.
FAN Button

When press this button more than 3 seconds, the Ionizer
function will be activated (the lamp will be on), press
more than 3 seconds again to disable.

Press this button to increase/decrease setting temperature.

It indicates the set temperature or auto timer setting.
While on DRY or FAN modes, it indicates the room
temperature.
LED Display
In Cool/Heat mode, when the ambient temperature is
lower/higher than the set temperature for a period of
time, the compressor and fan motor will stop
automatically. This lamp will be on, indicating that
Power Management is activated.

The unit should be placed on a firm foundation to minimize noise and vibration. Make sure the floor is strong
enough to support the unit.
Never place any obstacles around the air inlet or outlet of unit.

Optimum performance will be achieved within these operating temperatures.
When the unit operates above or below these conditions for a long time, system diagnostics may detect a
malfunction and the unit will not operate properly.
Room relative humidity - less than 80%. If the air conditioner operates outside this range, the surface of the
air conditioner may attract condensation.
Dry Mode
The unit should be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket.
Power plug must be securely inserted into the socket outlet.
Do not use extension cord , adapter or share the same power outlet with other appliance.
Do not trap the power cord in any way.

Press MODE and select ;
NOTE:
In this setting the system will automatically change modes and fan speed to the set temperature.
In spring and autumn, closer temperature control may require COOL/HEAT mode changes.
Fan speed and temperature can not be adjusted under AUTO mode.
The louver can only be adjusted when the unit is switched on.
Press SWING to initiate auto-swing. Press SWING again to stop the louver from swinging.
AUTO Mode

1) Press MODE and select ;
2) Press +/- on the unit or TEMP on the remote control to select the temperature.
3) Press FAN on the unit or remote control to select the fan speed.
COOL Mode
1) Connect the drain hose as figure shown.
2) Press MODE and select ;
NOTE:
Please remove the exhaust hose before DRY operation.
Fan speed and temperature can not be adjusted under DRY mode.
When stop the DRY operation, make sure all water is drained before removing
the drain tube and inserting the drain outlet plug onto the back of unit.
DRY Mode

1) Connect the drain hose as figure shown (different drain port from that of DRY mode).
2) Press MODE and select ;
3) Press +/- on the unit or TEMP on the remote control to select the temperature.
4) Press FAN on the unit or remote control to select the fan speed.
HEAT Mode
1) Press MODE and select ;
2) Press FAN on the unit or remort control to select the fan speed.
NOTE:
Temperature can not be adjusted under FAN mode.

NOTE:
Do not adjuct the louver manually.
Auto ON/OFF time can be set by control panel or remote controller.
On control panel:
When the unit is switched on:
1) Press TIMER. The OFF will be illuminated.
2) Set the auto off time by pressing +/-. Press TIMER to confirm. Then the ON will be illuminated.
3) Set the auto on time by pressing +/-. Press TIMER to confirm. Both ON/OFF will be illuminated. The unit is now programmed
to auto on/off.
When the unit is switched off:
1) Press TIMER. The ON will be illuminated.
2) Set the auto on time by pressing +/-. Press TIMER to confirm. Then the OFF will be illuminated.
3) Set the auto off time by pressing +/-. Press TIMER to confirm. Both ON/OFF will be illuminated. The unit is now programmed
to auto on/off.
NOTE:
To set the TIMER function with remote controller, please refer to instruction in remoter controller manual.
To cancel the auto on/off time setting, press the ON/OFF button, or set the timer to 0,0.

4. OPREATION
When selected, the set temperature will increase (cooling) or decrease (heating) by 1°C per 30 mintues for the first 1 hours. Thereafter
it keeps this new temperature for 7 hours before quiting the SLEEP mode.
This operation saves energy and improves night time comfort by synchronising with the body’s metabolism.
SLEEP FUNCTION
At start-up, a time delay of 3 to 4 minutes protects the compressor.
Compressor Delay
To avoid uncomfortable drafts in heating mode, the indoor unit is preheated before the fan starts. This delay should only last a few
minutes.
Cold Draft Prevention
Ice develops on the outdoor unit in heating mode. To defrost this ice, the indoor fan stops for a few minutes before heating continues.
Auto Defrost
The unit will automatically restart after a power interruption. Previous user settings are all recovered.
Auto Restart*
When the LED display shows “P1”, it means the bottom tray is full of water and needs draining. The unit will stop automatically and can
not be restarted until the water is drained.
1) Move the unit to a drain location.
2) Remove the bottom tray drain outlet cover and plug.
3) After the water is fully drained, put back the plug and cover.
4) Switch on the unit until “P1” disappears.
NOTE:
If “P1” continues to display, unplug the unit and call for qualified service personnel for assistance.
Water Tray Full Protection Function

When the Follow Me function is activated, the remote display is actual temperature at its location. And the remote controller will send
this signal to the unit every 3 minutes interval until press the FOLLOW ME button again.
NOTE:
The Follow Me function is not available under DRY and FAN mode.

DISCONNECT from power source BEFORE attempting to clean or service!
Use a soft damp cloth when cleaning the grille, casing and remote control.
Always contact a qualified service personnel to carry out repair or any
non-user serviceable maintenance, such as deep-cleaning, lubricate and
function check of critical component.
CAUTION
General Cleaning
Cleaning The Air Filter
Use a soft damp cloth when cleaning the grille, casing and remote controller.
- No chemicals e.g. detergents, solvents, abrasive polish, etc.
- No heat (over 40
°C)
To maintain the good performance, regularly inspect air filters and clean them if required.
Remove the Upper filter
- Pull open the grille
- Take out the filter

- Unscrew the grille
- Take out the filter
NOTE:
The air-in side should face up when using vacuum cleaner.
The air-in side should face down when using water.
Clean the air filter
Vacuum cleaner or pure water may be used to clean the air filter. If the dust accumulation is too heavy , please use soft brush and
mild detergent to clean it and dry out in cool place. Re-install the air filter after ensuring filter is thoroughly dry.
Storage Preparation [long idle periods]
1. Clean the air filters
2. Make sure the unit is completely drained of water and dry.
In humid or damp climates, operate in Fan only mode until
the unit has dried out.
3. Turn the air conditioner off with the remote and remove the
batteries.
4. Disconnect from the power source. Wrap the power cord
around the mains cord brackets and plug the plug into the
socket at the back of unit.
5. Properly dispose the accessories, e.g. exhaust hose,
window slider kit, etc.
Re-use After Storge
1. Check if anything block the air inlet and outlet.
2. Clean the air filters
3. Check the wires if any damaged or proper grounded.
4. Re-install the accessories.
5. Reconnect to the power source
6. Reinstall the batteries into the remote controller and turn
the unit on.

6. TROUBLE SHOOTING
6.1 GUIDES, TIPS AND CAUTIONS
The following may occur during normal operation, and may not indicate malfunction.
A 3 minute delay protects the compressor.
Check that the unit is firmly plugged in and the mains socket is switch on.
Room temperature is lower than the set temperature (Cooling mode). Reset the
Temperature.
Drain the water from the bottom tray drain outlet
“Gurgling”: normal flowing of the refrigerant inside the unit.
"Squeaking": normal expansion and contraction of plastic and metal parts.
Rushing air – normal when louver resets its position.
Check that all windows and doors are closed
Remove or switch off all heat sources if possible.
Check that the exhaust air duct is connected properly and not blocked. If blocked, clean
and re-connect.
Clean the air filter and re-fit securely before continuing operation.
Temperature setting is too high. Lower the temperature.
Move the unit to a stable, flat and level surface.
Case Explanation / Solution
