CVs/Resumes associated with an ARC account
Our goal at the USF IRB is to ensure our research community is provided with continued support and
guidance on IRB processes and procedures. As a reminder, accurate and current CVs/resumes are
required for all study team members engaged in human subjects research and are necessary for a
comprehensive IRB review. The CV/resume informs the USF IRB that you have the required
education, skills, and experience to conduct the research successfully. When uploading CVs/resumes
into ARC, investigators should ensure their current USF affiliation is clearly listed in the
document. The review process may be held up if the CV/resume is not clear on the current USF
affiliation including status as a student. If you don’t have a CV/resume, we have a template available
with built-in guidance that can be used.
If study team members need to update either their CV/resume or their human subjects research
protection certification (e.g. CITI certificate) in their ARC profile, please email a copy of the relevant
documentation (CITI certificate or CV/resume) to [email protected]. Once received, our Help Desk
team will update your information in your ARC profile, which is linked to the BullsIRB system. Please
allow 2-3 days for the relevant documentation to populate into your ARC account/BullsIRB system.
Individual CVs/resumes can also be uploaded by the study team by using the “Upload Team Member
CV” activity in a specific study workspace.

Reminder: USF IRB Virtual Educational Materials
The USF IRB wants to remind you that we continue to create educational materials to provide virtual
guidance and support to our USF and affiliate research community. We have recently updated our
USF IRB-YouTube channel to include new educational lectures called the IRB Lecture Series. The
lecture series offers faculty/students common virtual IRB classroom education and can be easily
downloaded and viewed. You can also find past copies of our IRB Newsletters on our website under
IRB Resources.
