WELCOME
Dear Friends of St. Ignatius,
St. Ignatius of Loyola once said Go forth and set the
world on fire”, and thats what we intend to do this

community! St. Ignatius implored us to give and not
to count the costand we hope to keep that spirit
alive tonight as we donate on behalf of our wonderful
school. We hope you will be enlightened by tonights

thoroughly enjoy all the blessings that we will share.
We want to thank our amazing dinner auction
committee for their countless hours of planning, and

PADDLE RAISE SUPPORT
Before opening, St. Ignatius Catholic School was the recipient of
a significant grant from the JA and Kathryn Albertsons Family
Foundation. Funds from this grant were used to help support our
personalized learning model during the first few years of opening
the school. This money allowed us to start our school with small
classes sizes and grow slowly, provided significant professional
development funding, and allowed us to offer a tremendous
amount of student support by structuring our classrooms with our
wonderful instructional aides.
Currently, every student in our PK-5th grade enjoys the many
benefits of having additional support from a classroom
instructional aide either all or part of the day. Additionally, our
middle school students interact with these professionals on the
playground, during lunch, and through individual academic
support services and invention. Our instructional aides facilitate
small groups and student collaboration, help teachers support
behavioral expectations in our classrooms, on our playground,
and throughout our building, and provide significant one-on-one
academic support for our students. These instructional aides
have been instrumental in the success of our school culture and
academic model. There is a good chance one of your student's
favorite people in our building is an instructional aide!
This year, funds from our paddle up will go toward maintaining
the current level of support from our instructional aides over the
next 3 years. We want to continue having these wonderful
professionals support all of our students for a significant portion
of the day. Our instructional aides touch the lives of every
student in our building, and maintaining their current level of
support is critical to the continued success of our personalized
learning model.
