The N.U.in Italy 2017 Program Instructions for Day of Travel

Instructions for Students on the Group Flight:

Please wear your N.U.in t-shirt (provided at Pre-departure Orientation) for identification purposes. If

you were unable to attend Pre-departure Orientation, look for a group of students in identical white t-

shirts at the airport. Students on the Boston Group Flight must check-in with N.U.in staff at Boston

Logan airport outside of security in terminal E approximately 3 hours before the Group Flight departure

at 10:20 p.m. Students on the New York Group Flight should check-in with Advantage Travel staff at the

John F. Kennedy airport outside of security in terminal 4 approximately 3 hours before the Group Flight

departure at 7:42 p.m.

When you arrive in Rome, collect your luggage and pass through customs. Stay with the group of other

N.U.in students at all times, and look for the John Cabot University Welcome Desk in the Arrivals Lounge

at Terminal 3. If you arrive at a different terminal, please make your way to Terminal 3. JCU Orientation

Leaders will check you in and assist you in boarding the shuttle to campus.

Instructions for Students Traveling Independently:

Participants who are not on the Group Flight are required to make independent arrangements to arrive

in Rome on Tuesday August 22, 2017. When you arrive in Rome, collect your luggage and proceed

through customs.

If you arrive between 9am and 7pm, look for the John Cabot University Welcome Desk in the Arrivals

Lounge at Terminal 3. If you arrive at a different terminal, please make your way to Terminal 3. JCU

Orientation Leaders will check you in and assist you in boarding the shuttle to campus.

If your flight lands later than 7pm, you must arrange your own transportation from the airport to the

student residence where you can check in directly.

Please arrange for alternate accommodations if you arrive before the program start date of August 22,

as students cannot move into the Gianicolo Residence Hall early.
