Malaysia Airlines and Air Mauritius Broaden Connectivity for Customers
with Reinstatement of Codeshare Flights
KLIA, 05 August 2024 – Malaysia Airlines and Air Mauritius are pleased to announce the reinstatement
of codeshare flights between the two carriers, offering travellers with enhanced travel options to
explore the captivating beauty of Malaysia, Asia, Australia, Africa and beyond.
Passengers will enjoy seamless travel experiences and benefit from the convenient connections
offered from the airlines’ main hubs in KL International Airport Terminal 1 (KUL) and Sir Seewoosagur
Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). By placing their respective flight codes – “MH” for Malaysia
Airlines and “MK” for Air Mauritius – on key destinations, the airlines aim to enhance connectivity and
convenience for travellers to experience the diverse cultures and cities awaiting to be explored.
Malaysia Airlines customers will enjoy access to a broader network beyond the airline’s current
offerings including direct flights from KUL to MRU, where they can soak in the tropical paradise of
Mauritius for their next beach holiday, or explore the captivating landscapes of Johannesburg, South
Africa (JNB) operated by Air Mauritius.
Meanwhile, Air Mauritius will codeshare on Malaysia Airlines' domestic flights to destinations
including Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuantan, and Johor Bharu, as well as the opportunity to
connect to various international destinations from its KUL hub. Whether delving into the cultural gems
of Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, venturing to vibrant cities in Singapore, Hanoi, Tokyo
and Ho Chi Minh City, or experiencing the allure of Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Seoul, passengers
will enjoy ample opportunities for exploration and discovery.
